Adam Law - Principal
Adam has first class honours degrees in both physics and mechanical engineering from the University of Western Australia. Before starting his own practice in 2009, he worked for a number of top tier patent attorney firms in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. As a result, Adam has over 10 years experience in the industry.
Adam specialises in mechanical, physics, electronics, software and business method patents. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys. He also regularly assists clients with trade mark and design matters.
Adam assists a broad base of clients including large corporations and sole inventors. Adam prepares and prosecutes applications in all major jurisdictions including Australia, Canada, China, Europe, Japan and the US. He regularly consults to patent firms in Melbourne and Sydney particularly with regard to software, semiconductors and electronic circuits. Adam also consults on general mechanical, mining and oil and gas matters.
Adam's experience extends to freedom to operate, infringement and revocation opinions as well as general due diligence. He also assists companies with licensing, commercialisation and strategy advice.
Adam is a member of a number of organisations including the Institute of Patent & Trade Mark Attorneys and the Licensing and Executives Society. Outside of work Adam enjoys playing golf, squash and tennis.
